We're hosting a backyard party for about 40 people, just family and friends. It's a five-hour afternoon thing with beer and wine. We have one full bathroom inside, but I don't want a line forming or people tracking through the house.

I'm trying to decide between renting one or two standard portable toilets. I've read the planning charts that start at one unit for 50 to 75 people, but they always say to add more for alcohol. Is that extra unit for a 40-person party overkill, or is it the right move to keep everyone comfortable? Our yard is flat grass and a truck can pull right up to the edge of the driveway for placement.
