About Porta Potty Forum
What is Porta Potty Forum?
Porta Potty Forum is an independent question-and-answer community about portable toilets and portable sanitation. Members ask about renting units for weddings, festivals, construction sites, home renovations, farms and long-term projects: how many units to order, standard versus flushing versus ADA units, restroom trailers, delivery and placement, servicing and pumping, odor and chemicals, pricing and what permits or rules apply. Other members answer from hands-on experience: rental operators, service route drivers, event producers, construction superintendents, an accessibility consultant and homeowners who have rented before.
Who runs it?
Porta Potty Forum is run by a small moderation team under the username ppf-team. The team pins reference threads, removes spam and marks answers that match published standards from OSHA, the ADA Standards for Accessible Design, ANSI Z4.3 and the Portable Sanitation Association International (PSAI). The team does not rent units and does not accept payment for recommendations.
How answers are ranked
Every thread shows the accepted answer first, then answers by member votes. The person who asked the question, or a moderator, marks the accepted answer. Answers that name a specific rental company as a recommendation are removed; answers that explain what to look for in any company are welcome.

- Your rental agreement and the delivery ticket
