50-person film crew, 12-hour days: how many porta potties to avoid downtime?

We're running a 50-person film crew in a remote field for 12-hour days over a two-week shoot. There are no existing facilities, and we absolutely cannot have actors or crew waiting in line for a restroom, downtime costs us too much. The ground is flat grass, and a truck can drive right up to the placement spot. We're serving catered meals but no alcohol. I'm looking at standard units for the crew, but I'm wondering if we need a deluxe unit or even a restroom trailer for the talent. How many units do we need total to avoid lines? And does the ADA 5 percent cluster rule apply to a film set like this, meaning we need an ADA-compliant unit?

You need at least six portable toilets for a 50-person film crew to avoid downtime, based on OSHA 1926.51 for construction sanitation. OSHA requires one standard unit and one urinal per 40 workers, so with 50 people, you need two units plus one urinal, but since portable urinals are rare, plan for three standard units to cover the requirement. For a 12-hour day with catered meals, double that to six units to prevent lines. The ADA 5 percent cluster rule applies if you have any crew or talent with disabilities, so include one ADA-compliant unit in your cluster. For talent, a deluxe unit or restroom trailer adds comfort but isn't mandatory. Weekly service visits are standard, but with 12-hour days and 50 people, schedule service every three to four days to keep units clean and functional. Costs depend on unit types, rental duration, service frequency, and delivery distance to your remote field.
