Deluxe portable toilet
Also called: deluxe unit, event unit, VIP unit
A deluxe portable toilet is a standard-size unit upgraded for guest events: usually a flushing bowl, a small sink with a foot pump, a mirror, a paper towel holder, a coat hook and sometimes a solar light. It is the usual step up for weddings and corporate events.
Deluxe is a rental industry label, not a standard, so the feature list varies by company. Ask exactly what is included: flushing or not, sink inside or a separate handwash station, lighting, and whether the interior is serviced during the event.
A deluxe unit still uses a holding tank and still needs the same service truck. It does not replace a restroom trailer for long formal events, but two or three deluxe units often cover a backyard wedding for 100 guests.
