Gutting our only bathroom in a townhouse with a shared driveway: where can the porta potty actually go?

We're gutting the only full bath in our end unit townhouse, and the contractor says plan on about three weeks without a working toilet. Problem is we have no front yard at all. The only spot is a narrow concrete driveway we share with the neighbor, and it ends at a wooden gate into our little paver patio out back.

Neighbor is fine with a unit sitting on the driveway near the gate for a few weeks, as long as their car can still squeeze by. The other option is rolling it through the gate onto the patio so it's out of sight and off the shared part.

Couple things I can't figure out. Will the delivery guy actually wheel it through a gate onto pavers, or does it have to stay where the truck can reach? And if it's back on the patio, can the service hose make it that far every week? Anyone done this in a tight spot like ours?

The portable toilet can go on the shared driveway or on your paver patio, but the service truck must be able to reach within 25 feet of the unit for pumping. A rental company will likely deliver the unit to the driveway and may use a dolly to move it through the gate onto the patio if you request it, but confirm this with them first. The service hose on a vacuum truck typically extends up to 100 feet, so reaching the patio from the driveway should not be an issue. For a home renovation, a standard unit is sufficient and will require weekly service for the three-week period. Ensure the patio is level and stable to prevent tipping. Communicate the placement plan with your rental company to avoid missed service charges.
