What's the best way to stop kids from tipping over a porta potty on a remote worksite?

We've got a remote worksite that closes on weekends, and vandals keep tipping over our standard portable toilets. We stake them down with rebar and use tie-downs, but they still get rocked until they fall. The ground is hard-packed dirt, and the service truck has no trouble reaching the spot during the week. It's just those two days when nobody's around. I'm tired of coming back to a mess and paying for damage. Has anyone found a trick that actually works to stop kids from messing with these things? Do you use heavier stakes, or maybe something else to make them less fun to push over?

The best way to stop kids from tipping over a standard portable toilet on a remote worksite is to use heavier, longer stakes and multiple tie-downs anchored deep into the ground. On hard-packed dirt, rebar often bends or pulls out. Switch to 3/4-inch steel stakes at least 4 feet long, driven at least 2 feet down at all four corners, and use ratchet straps instead of ropes. Angle the stakes outward away from the unit for better leverage. You can also place sandbags or concrete blocks inside the base to lower the center of gravity and make it harder to rock. Making the unit less fun to push over helps too, remove any handholds or footholds nearby, and consider a motion-activated security light or camera sign as a deterrent. Since your service truck has good access, these steps won't interfere with weekly service visits.
