Missed service
Also called: skipped service, no-access charge, dry run
A missed service is a scheduled service visit the driver could not complete, usually because the truck could not reach the unit: a locked gate, a blocked drive, vehicles parked in front, soft ground or a unit moved by the customer. Most agreements bill the trip and reschedule.
The fix is on the customer side nine times out of ten: keep the access path clear on service day, give the operator the gate code, and do not move the unit. Call before service day if anything changed.
