Neighborhood Halloween outdoor movie night: one porta potty enough for about 120 people on the HOA lawn?

Our HOA is doing a free Halloween outdoor movie on the common lawn this Saturday. We are expecting around 120 people (lots of kids plus parents) for about three hours, starting at dusk. There will be popcorn and cider, no alcohol, and the clubhouse bathrooms are a long walk across the parking lot and get locked after dark half the time anyway.

I am trying to figure out if one standard porta potty is enough or if we should order two, and whether we need a separate handwash station since kids will be eating. The lawn is flat grass and a truck can pull in from the curb. We also have a few neighbors who use wheelchairs, so I am wondering if we should make one of the units an ADA unit even though this is a private HOA event.

Anyone run a short evening outdoor movie or similar neighborhood event? What actually worked for count, unit type, and where you put them so they were not right next to the screen?

One standard portable toilet is not enough for 120 people at a three-hour event; order two standard units and one ADA-compliant unit to meet both capacity and accessibility needs. The industry guideline suggests about one unit per 50 to 75 people for a four-hour event, and with kids and food, you need more units to prevent lines. Since you have neighbors who use wheelchairs, the ADA cluster rule applies to any cluster of portable toilets, requiring at least one ADA-compliant portable toilet in the group. You also need a handwash station because food is served, health department rules often mandate handwashing facilities near food service to prevent illness. Place the units on level ground at least 50 feet from the screen to avoid distractions, ensuring they are visible but not central. Service is not needed for a one-day event, as units are delivered clean and picked up afterward. Flat grass with curb access is ideal for delivery and placement.
