50-person wedding, mostly women, 6-hour reception: two standard units enough?

I'm planning a 50-guest wedding reception in a field, six hours long, with dinner and an open bar. The guest list is mostly women, and I know that means more restroom trips. The rental company suggested two standard units placed on grass near the catering tent, with truck access from the gravel drive. I'm wondering if two units will be enough to avoid lines, or if I should add a third unit given the crowd and the alcohol. What's your experience with similar events?

Two standard units are not enough for a 50-guest wedding reception lasting six hours with an open bar and a mostly female crowd. The industry guideline suggests starting with about one standard portable toilet per 50 to 75 people for a four-hour event. Your event is longer, includes alcohol, and has a demographic that typically uses restrooms more frequently. These factors increase the needed capacity. I would add a third unit to avoid long lines. A cluster of three units provides a better experience. If the event is open to the public or on public property, the ADA cluster rule requires at least one ADA-compliant portable toilet when multiple units are provided. Check with your rental company about local health department rules for special events. The cost to add a unit is driven by the rental rate for the duration and the delivery fee. Weekly service is standard, but for a single-day event, no additional service visit is needed unless the units fill prematurely.
