Delivery fee
Also called: delivery and pickup, trip charge, transport fee
The delivery fee is the charge for bringing a portable toilet to the site and taking it away, usually quoted as one round-trip figure based on distance from the operator's yard. It is a separate line on the quote from the rental rate.
Delivery is why two identical quotes can differ: a company across town charges less to deliver than one from the next county. Rural and remote sites pay more, and difficult access (long carries, gates, weekend deliveries) can add to it.
For long rentals the delivery fee matters less than the monthly rate; for a one-day event it can be most of the bill.
