What's the most creative placement you've seen for a porta potty?

My most creative placement was a standard portable toilet inside a decommissioned grain silo. A film crew was shooting a scene in the silo and needed a restroom that wouldn't require actors to climb the ladder for a break. The unit was light enough that two crew members could lower it with ropes, but servicing it was the real trick. My vacuum truck couldn't get the hose down the silo's small access hatch. We ended up using a portable transfer pump with a long hose to pump the waste up and out to the truck. That job required a special service visit every three days because of the limited holding tank capacity and the number of people using it.

I've also seen a deluxe portable toilet set up in the middle of a fancy garden for an outdoor wedding. The challenge there was getting it placed without ruining the lawn. The rental company used special mats and a small tracked dolly to roll it into position. That kind of placement drives up the cost because of the extra labor and equipment needed for delivery and the higher service frequency required for a flushing unit at a busy event. The key to these odd jobs is always the service access. If my truck can't get within hose length, the price goes up for the extra time and gear.
