500-person corporate picnic: How many units if most are men?

I'm organizing a corporate picnic for about 500 employees, and the attendance will be heavily male-dominated. The event runs from 11 AM to 4 PM in a city park on grassy, level ground with easy truck access. We'll have food trucks and beer served. I want to avoid long lines at the toilets.

I'm planning to order a mix of standard portable toilets and I'm considering adding some portable urinals to speed things up for the guys. I know I need at least one ADA-compliant unit per the ADA cluster rule.

My main question is, how many standard units and urinals should I rent for this crowd? Does the fact that it's mostly men change the math compared to a mixed-gender event?

Rent 10 to 12 standard portable toilets, one ADA-compliant unit, and 3 to 5 portable urinals for this event. The male-heavy crowd reduces the need for standard units but increases the value of urinals for throughput. The ADA cluster rule requires at least one accessible unit in the cluster. Event guidelines suggest one standard unit per 50 to 75 people for a four-hour event, but alcohol service and a five-hour duration mean you should use the higher end of that range. Urinals handle more users per hour than standard units, so adding them cuts wait times. Place all units together on level ground with clear truck access for delivery and servicing. Order a mid-event service if the rental company offers it; beer consumption will fill tanks faster. Your rental cost depends on the unit count, rental duration, and service frequency.
