Youth soccer tournament on grass fields: how many porta potties and do we need handwash stations?
We are hosting a two-day youth soccer tournament on grass fields with about 350 players and parents on site each day, roughly 8am to 6pm. The fields have no permanent restrooms within walking distance, and food vendors will be set up near the main parking lot.
I am trying to figure out how many standard porta potties we actually need for that headcount and day length, and whether a separate handwash station is required when food is being sold, or if the sinkless units plus sanitizer are enough. Also, should the bank sit by the parking lot for truck access, or closer to the far fields where people actually play?
Any lived experience from tournament or field-day setups would help. We do not want lines at halftime and we do not want to overbuy.
