What's the most unusual porta potty placement you've seen?

I've been driving a vacuum truck for nine years, servicing construction sites, fairs and farms. I see a lot of creative placements. Last summer, I had a standard unit on a floating dock at a fishing tournament. The truck couldn't get closer than 100 feet, so I used a longer hose and waded in. Another time, a deluxe unit was strapped to a flatbed trailer for a week-long music festival on a hillside. The ground was uneven, but they built a wood platform. Restroom trailers are the trickiest, one was parked on a gravel lot for a wedding with 200 guests, but the generator kept failing. What's the most unusual porta potty placement you've seen? How did you handle the service?

The most unusual placement I serviced was a standard unit on a rooftop during a high-rise renovation. The contractor used a crane to lift it up, and we serviced it by running a long hose from the truck to the building's service elevator. Another tricky one was an ADA-compliant unit placed at a remote trailhead for a hiking event, the access road was too narrow for our vacuum truck, so we used a smaller utility vehicle with a portable pump. For events, the planning guideline is about one unit per 50 to 75 people for a four-hour event, but alcohol, longer duration, or mostly female crowds mean adding units. Service frequency depends on use: weekly is standard, but heavy traffic or heat requires more visits. Unusual placements often mean extra labor or equipment, which affects the cost.
