Family reunion on a gravel lot: how close does the truck need to get for delivery and service?
We are hosting a family reunion on our property next month. Roughly 90 people outdoors for one afternoon, food and coolers, and I do not want everyone tracking through the house bathroom. I want one or two standard portable toilets by the picnic tables, but that spot sits a few hundred feet past our gate on a gravel drive. The gate is narrow and the shoulder gets soft after rain.
Do delivery and vacuum truck crews need to pull right up to where the unit sits, or is there a hose reach I should plan around? If they can only drop at the gate, is moving a full unit ourselves a bad idea? Also, if we keep a unit an extra day for cleanup, does a locked gate during the week cause a missed service?
What should I tell the rental office when I describe the access so they do not show up and then say they cannot place it where the guests will actually use it?
