Septic replacement: one porta potty for a family of four for two weeks?

Our septic system is failing, so we're getting a full replacement that will take about two weeks. We have a family of four, two adults and two kids (8 and 10). The rental company said a standard portable toilet would work, but I'm wondering if one unit is enough for us all day, every day. We'll be home the whole time, cooking and eating normally. The unit would go on our gravel driveway, which is level and has good truck access for service. Should we stick with one standard unit, or consider upgrading to a deluxe unit with a sink or even a restroom trailer for more comfort? What has worked for others in a similar situation?

One standard portable toilet is enough for a family of four for two weeks. A standard unit holds 50 to 70 gallons and, with weekly service, handles typical family use. Weekly service includes pumping the holding tank, restocking toilet paper, and adding deodorizer. Your driveway placement with good truck access ensures reliable servicing. A deluxe unit with a sink or a restroom trailer adds comfort but requires more: a deluxe unit needs antifreeze in cold weather and may need more frequent service due to the sink, while a restroom trailer needs power and leveling. For a short-term home renovation, a standard unit is cost-effective and sufficient. Upgrade only if comfort is a priority over the higher rental and service costs.
