50-person film crew, 14-hour days: how many units?

I'm coordinating a film shoot with a crew of 50 people, working 14-hour days for two weeks. The location is a rural field with firm ground, and a vacuum truck can access the site easily. The crew is mixed gender, and we'll have catering on-site. No alcohol is served, but long hours mean heavy use. I'm considering a mix of standard units for general use and at least one ADA-compliant unit to meet the ADA 5 percent cluster rule. How many total units should I order, and should I upgrade to deluxe flushing units or a restroom trailer for better comfort?

Order four standard units and one ADA-compliant unit for this crew. OSHA 1926.51 requires one toilet per 40 workers for 20 to 199 employees, so 50 people need two units, but 14-hour days and catering mean heavy use. Add two more standard units to handle peak times and reduce lines. The ADA cluster rule requires at least one accessible unit when you have multiple portable toilets.

Use standard units, not deluxe flushing units or a restroom trailer. A standard unit has a 50 to 70 gallon holding tank and works fine with weekly service. Deluxe units and trailers need more frequent pumping due to flushing, and a trailer requires a generator and leveling. In a rural field, standard units are simpler and cheaper to maintain.

Service weekly is the norm, but with 50 people using them heavily for long days, schedule service twice a week. The rental cost depends on the number of units, service frequency, and rental duration. Add a handwash station near the catering area.
