Porta potty keeps getting vandalized on our open site. What do operators do about it?
Our home build is on an open, unfenced lot in a semi-residential area. We have one standard portable toilet for a crew of about ten guys, and it's been a magnet for trouble. Someone set it on fire a month ago, which the rental company replaced. Since then, it's been tipped over twice. The driver mentioned this is a common issue on open sites. He pumps it and sets it back up, but it's clearly not a solution.
What do operators actually do to secure a unit or deter vandals when a fence isn't an option? Are there specific staking methods or locks they can install? I'm worried the next time it gets damaged we'll be charged for it.
