Hand sanitizer dispenser

Also called: sanitizer station, in-unit sanitizer

A hand sanitizer dispenser is a wall-mounted pump inside a portable toilet or a freestanding post next to a cluster, filled with alcohol-based sanitizer and refilled at each service. It is the low-cost alternative to a handwash station when water is not required.

Sanitizer does not satisfy a handwashing requirement near food service, because sanitizer is not soap and water. It is fine for construction crews, spectators and general events where no rule calls for a sink.

Ask whether the dispenser is included with the unit or billed as an add-on, and whether it is refilled during a multi-day event.
