2026: are enzyme deodorizers better for the environment?
I'm prepping for a summer series of weekend farmers' markets and a couple of small outdoor weddings. Each event is around 150 guests for about five hours, with food vendors and of course wine. The ground is grass, and the truck access is good for a standard delivery. I always push my rental company for the most environmentally responsible options, and I've started hearing about enzyme-based deodorizers as a green alternative. I know they break down waste biologically instead of just masking the smell with chemicals. My standard rental contract specifies a formaldehyde-free deodorizer, which is a start, but I'm curious about enzymes. Do enzyme deodorizers actually work better for odor control throughout a hot day? And are they genuinely better for the ground and the waste disposal process?
