Saturday overtime for three weeks: do we add a weekend pump-out on top of Friday service?

We're on a commercial shell with about 35 trades on site weekdays, and starting next Saturday the GC is running overtime through the end of the month. Right now we have two standard units on a Friday service visit schedule. By Thursday afternoon the tanks already look heavy, and a full Saturday crew will push them harder before Monday.

Does a rental company usually add a Saturday or Sunday pump-out when you stack weekend overtime on a weekly route, or do they just bump you to twice a week on weekdays? The vacuum truck can reach the pad fine. I do not want to invent a third unit if more frequent service on the two we have is enough. Anyone run this and see what actually got written into the service notes?

Yes, you add a Saturday pump-out. Two standard units on a Friday service schedule with 35 workers daily are already at the limit by Thursday, and a full Saturday crew will overload them. I order an extra weekend service visit when overtime starts.

A rental company will not automatically bump you to twice-weekly weekday service. They stick to the contracted schedule unless you request a change. You call them, specify the Saturday date, and they send the vacuum truck. The service ticket will note 'added service for overtime crew' or similar.

More frequent service costs more than adding a third unit for a short period. But if truck access is good and you only need it for three weekends, the weekend pump-out is the practical fix. Just confirm with the rental company that the driver is scheduled, and stake the units so they are not blocked on Saturday.
