Does a 4-stall restroom trailer need its own dedicated electrical hookup?

We're planning for a three-day music festival with around 2,500 attendees daily, and I'm looking at a 4-stall restroom trailer for the VIP area. The site has power poles in the general vicinity, but I'm not sure if we need to run a dedicated line for the restroom trailer or if we can tap into existing circuits that are already serving food vendors and small stage lighting. The trailer will have flushing toilets and sinks, so it needs reliable power for the lights, ventilation, and water pump. The ground is level, and a vacuum truck can reach the spot for pumping. Do we need a dedicated circuit for the restroom trailer, or is sharing an existing circuit a safe option?

A restroom trailer needs its own dedicated electrical circuit. Sharing an existing circuit with food vendors or stage lighting is not a safe option and will likely cause problems.

The water pump in the trailer draws a high amperage surge when it starts, and the ventilation fan and lights add to the electrical load. If you share a circuit, this can trip the breaker, cutting power to the trailer and the other equipment on that line. A dedicated circuit prevents this and ensures the trailer's systems operate reliably for your VIP guests. The trailer will require a standard 120V connection. Check with your rental company for the specific amperage requirement for the four-stall model you are using, as it can vary.

Your other site details are good. Level ground is required for proper operation and placement, and accessible truck access for the vacuum truck is essential for servicing.
