Holding tank looks full three days before weekly service. Can we get an emergency pump-out?

We've got one standard unit on a framing site for about 15 guys. Weekly service visit is every Monday. By Thursday afternoon the tank looks close to full and the smell is already bad when you open the door.

Is there such a thing as an emergency midweek pump, or do rental places just bump you to twice-weekly for the rest of the job? Also wondering what "full" actually means from the operator side. Is it when the blue liquid disappears, when waste is near the seat, or something else? Don't want to wait until Monday if that means a mess.

Crew size jumped last week when the drywall guys showed up, so that probably explains it.

Yes, rental companies offer emergency pump-outs, but you will pay extra for the unscheduled service visit. Call your provider now and explain the crew size increased. They can dispatch a vacuum truck to pump the holding tank and recharge the deodorizer.

A standard unit is full when waste reaches the bottom of the seat or the blue liquid is no longer visible, which means the holding tank has little room left. Do not wait until Monday; an overfull unit is unsanitary and violates OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51, which requires one toilet for 20 or fewer workers.

After the emergency service, ask the rental company to switch you to twice-weekly service visits for the duration of the higher crew count. The cost will be higher due to the added service frequency, but it prevents future issues.
