Apple picking crew of 12 runs out of toilet paper by Thursday: stock it ourselves or ask for a second service day?

We've got a picking crew of 12 working our orchard six days a week through the end of October, and we rent one standard unit at the edge of the packing shed. It gets serviced every Monday. Problem is the toilet paper is gone by Thursday most weeks and the hand sanitizer dispenser runs dry around the same time. The tank itself doesn't look close to full when the driver shows up.

Is it normal to just keep a case of rolls in the shed and refill it ourselves, or does that cause any issue on the rental side? Or should I be asking for a second service visit each week instead? I'd rather not pay to pump a tank that isn't full, but I also don't want the crew going without for three days. How do other farms handle this during harvest?

Yes, stock the toilet paper yourselves. A weekly service visit is standard for a standard unit with 12 people, but paper and sanitizer can run out faster than the tank fills. Keeping a case of rolls and a bottle of hand sanitizer in the shed to refill midweek is common and causes no rental issues. The driver will still service the unit on Monday, pumping the holding tank, replenishing the deodorizer, and restocking paper and sanitizer to their standard levels. Adding a second service day would cost more because it involves an extra truck roll, labor, and disposal fees, even if the tank isn't full. For a crew of 12, OSHA 1926.51 requires only one toilet, so your unit count is fine. Many farms handle harvest season by self-supplying paper midweek to avoid extra service charges while keeping workers comfortable.
