Porta potty for a 6-month garage conversion: will weekly service be enough?

We are converting our detached garage into an ADU for my mother-in-law, a six-month project. It's just me and one contractor using the portable toilet every weekday, about eight hours a day. No food or alcohol, just standard use. The rental company delivered a standard standard unit and set it on our gravel driveway, which is level and has great truck access. They said weekly service is the norm, but I'm worried two people using it daily for five days a week might fill the holding tank or overwhelm the deodorizer before the seven-day mark. Has anyone else run a two-person crew on a weekly service schedule for months? Did you ever need to call for an extra pump-out?

Weekly service is enough for two people on a five-day workweek. A standard standard unit holds 50 to 70 gallons, and two people using it eight hours a day for five days will not fill the holding tank. The deodorizer charge lasts a week in normal use. I run a ranch with seasonal crews and have used weekly service for small groups without issues. The key is no food waste or excessive paper, which you already have. Your gravel driveway with good truck access ensures the service truck can pump it easily every visit. If you notice odor or fullness before the weekly service, it might be due to high heat or something unusual, but for standard use, weekly is fine. I never needed an extra pump-out for a two-person crew.
