Deluxe unit vs standard for a 4-day family reunion?

Our family reunion is coming up in a few weeks, and I'm trying to decide between a standard unit and a deluxe unit. It's a four-day event on a flat, grassy backyard. About 35 people, including kids and grandparents, will be there. We'll have food catered and a beer keg.

The standard unit is the basic plastic stall with a holding tank. The deluxe unit has a flushing toilet, a small sink with running water, and a mirror. It's definitely more like a real bathroom. The rental company said the cost is higher for the deluxe model.

I'm wondering if the extra comfort is worth it for a longer event, especially with older relatives. Does the flushing and sink make a big difference over four days? Is it easier to keep clean?

For a four-day reunion with grandparents and kids, go deluxe unit if you can swing it. The flush and sink matter more than people expect once you are past a single afternoon.

A standard unit is fine for a short backyard party. Over four days with beer and catered food, the holding tank and the lack of a real handwash at the stall start to catch up. Older guests notice the difference right away. Kids spill soap and water less when there is a sink built in instead of a separate station they have to find.

Cleaning is easier on deluxe because the bowl gets rinsed each flush and the sink keeps people from wiping hands on the door. Still schedule a mid-event service visit if the rental company can do it. Four days of 35 people is a lot of use either way, and neither unit type stays fresh without a pump-out.

If budget is tight, two standards beat one deluxe for wait times. If comfort for grandparents is the priority, one deluxe plus a handwash station next to it is the setup I would book.
