What drives the cost up on a restroom trailer quote?

Owen G.asked 0 viewsCosts & Rental QuotesRestroom trailerGeneratorLevelingWeddingCost factors

I'm comparing quotes for a wedding with 150 guests over eight hours, serving food and alcohol. A restroom trailer is significantly more expensive than standard units. I know trailers need level ground, a generator or power hookup, and fresh water supply. The delivery requires a truck with a hitch and clear access to the site. What drives the cost up on a restroom trailer quote? Is it the stall count, the generator rental, the water hookup complexity, or the service frequency? How do I make sure I'm comparing apples to apples between companies?

Stall count, haul distance, power and water setup, and how often the tanks get pumped are what drive a restroom trailer quote more than the trailer label itself.

For a 150-guest wedding with food and alcohol over eight hours, the restroom trailer is sized for peak use, not just headcount. Alcohol and food bump restroom traffic, so quotes often bake in a mid-event service visit or extra holding tank capacity. The unit also needs level ground, a generator or shore power for lights and flush systems, a fresh water fill, and a waste pump-out. Those pieces stack: delivery with a truck and hitch, time on site for leveling, generator fuel or rental, and whether someone returns during the event.

When you compare quotes, line them up by stall count, whether power and water are included, service visits during the event, and delivery or pickup windows. Same stall count with generator included versus customer-supplied power is not the same deal. Ask each quote to break out delivery, power, water, and service so you can see which line is moving the number.
