Generator for restroom trailers

Also called: trailer power, shore power

A generator supplies electrical power to a restroom trailer when the site has no outlet within reach; the trailer needs power for lights, water pumps, exhaust fans, heat or air conditioning and the water heater. Trailers can also run on shore power from dedicated circuits.

The operator will tell you the amperage the trailer needs and whether one or two circuits are required. A generator sized too small trips under the air conditioning load on a hot day.

Generator placement matters too: away from the doors for noise and exhaust, and on a path the fuel delivery can reach for multi-day events.
