Crew starts tomorrow. Can they still drop a porta potty same day?

Our framing crew got pulled forward a week and we need a standard unit on the lot by tomorrow morning. Gravel pad is level, truck can pull straight in off the street, and there is a clear spot next to the temporary fence.

I called late this afternoon. Dispatcher said they would try but would not lock anything in. Is same-day or next-morning delivery realistic for a construction drop, or do most outfits need a day or two of lead time?

We only need it about three weeks with a weekly service visit once it is down. If they miss the morning window, does the crew just wait, or do people keep a backup plan when the schedule slips?

Same-day or next-morning delivery is realistic for a standard portable toilet if the rental company has available units and trucks. Your site conditions, level gravel pad, clear truck access, and straightforward placement, improve the odds. Most operators prioritize construction jobs over events, but they cannot guarantee a slot without advance notice.

If the unit does not arrive by morning, the crew should not wait; have a backup plan like directing workers to a nearby public restroom or a temporary break until delivery. For a three-week rental with weekly service, confirm the service day with the dispatcher to avoid missed visits. Weekly service is standard, but hot weather or heavy use may require more frequent pumping and cleaning.

Rental costs depend on unit type, rental duration, service frequency, and delivery distance. A standard unit is the most cost-effective for a framing crew, and your short notice may incur a rush fee if available.
