Can a flushing portable toilet be used in a residential remodel with kids?
We're gutting our only bathroom for a remodel that'll take about six weeks, and I've got a standard portable toilet sitting on our driveway right now. It's fine for me, but my kids (ages 5 and 8) are used to flushing toilets at home and school. They're a little hesitant about the non-flushing kind, and I'm worried about spills or messes making the whole experience unpleasant. I'm considering upgrading to a flushing portable toilet or even a small restroom trailer if it's safer and more familiar for them. The driveway is level, and a truck can pull right up to it. Has anyone made the switch for a residential job with kids? Is the flushing type actually easier for them to use, or does it come with other hassles like freezing risks or more frequent servicing?
