Restroom trailer for October 2026 wedding: water hookup vs fresh tank?

We're renting a six-stall restroom trailer for our October 2026 wedding. The venue has a water spigot about 50 feet from where the trailer will sit, but it's an old farm property and I'm not sure about the pressure or if it'll work all day. The ground is grassy and level, and a truck can pull right up to the spot. We'll have 120 guests for about 6 hours, with a catered dinner and an open bar. Should we rely on the venue's water hookup or go with the onboard fresh water tank? What are the pros and cons of each for a one-day event like this?

Rent the restroom trailer with the onboard fresh water tank. The venue spigot is an unknown risk for pressure and reliability over six hours with 120 guests. A trailer with its own fresh water tank is self-contained, runs on a dedicated water pump, and avoids low-pressure issues that could stall flushing or handwashing during your event. The tank will be filled by the delivery driver and last for your guest count and duration. The hookup option saves the rental company a service step, but if the spigot fails, you have no backup. With an open bar and dinner, guest restroom use will be steady. The grassy, level ground and good truck access are perfect for either setup. Pay for the certainty of the onboard tank; it is cheaper than a wedding day problem.
