Someone shoved a smashed jack o lantern down our park porta potty last night. Call for service now or wait till Wednesday?

Walked the park this morning after Halloween and found our standard unit by the ball field in rough shape. Somebody broke a carved pumpkin into chunks and pushed most of it down the hole, plus what looks like a whole bag of candy wrappers and a couple of those glow sticks. The tank was maybe a third full before this.

Our regular service day is Wednesday. We've got youth soccer out there Saturday and Sunday so people will be using it the whole time.

Does pumpkin and plastic junk actually cause a problem for the pump truck, or does it all just come out with everything else? Should I call the company today and ask for an extra visit, or is it fine to just put a sign up and wait? Also wondering if this is the kind of thing they bill extra for since it isn't normal waste.

Call for service now. Pumpkin chunks, candy wrappers and glow sticks can clog the vacuum truck hose or damage the pump. The holding tank is now partly full with solids that do not break down, which risks overflow before Wednesday. Youth soccer this weekend means heavy use, so waiting risks a full unit and complaints.

Most rental companies charge extra for an emergency service visit to cover the extra trip and any pump repairs. They also charge for cleaning out non-standard waste like this. Put a sign on the unit saying 'Out of Order' until serviced, but do not rely on that alone.

Explain the situation exactly to the rental company. They need to know about the pumpkin and plastic to bring the right equipment. Waiting until Wednesday could mean a bigger bill if the pump clogs or the unit overflows.
