Do all restroom trailers require a dedicated generator?
I'm renting a two-stall restroom trailer for a three-day fall festival. The site is a remote field with no power or water hookups. My quote includes a separate fee for a generator, which got me thinking. I was under the impression that some restroom trailers have their own onboard power systems, maybe batteries or built-in generators, to run the interior lights and electric flush. This unit is a basic model with flushing toilets and a small sink in each stall. The delivery spot is level grass, and the vacuum truck can get right to it. Does every restroom trailer require a dedicated generator when there's no shore power? What determines if a trailer has onboard power?
