Do I need to be home when they deliver the porta potty to my driveway?
We're mid kitchen remodel and the only bathroom is offline for another four weeks, so we ordered a standard unit for the driveway. The rental company gave us a Tuesday morning delivery window but said the driver might show anytime between 7 and noon. Both of us work those hours and nobody else can wait at the house.
Does someone actually have to sign or unlock anything, or can they just set it on the pad and leave? The driveway is open to the street, level asphalt, and the truck can back straight in. I already marked the spot with cones like they asked.
If they need a signature or a gate code, what do people do when nobody can stay home for a four-hour window? Also curious whether later service visits need someone present, or if the weekly pump runs the same way with nobody home.
