Soft ground after November rains: will service truck sink?

We have a 12-week residential addition project with a standard portable toilet and a handwash station on a dirt side yard. The site has been dry all fall, but November rains turned the ground into soft mud. The rental truck parks about 15 feet away on the driveway, but now the hose has to cross this soft patch. I'm worried the service truck's weight will sink into the mud when it pulls up next week. Has anyone had a driver refuse service for soft ground? What do they do if the truck gets stuck, am I liable for the tow truck?

Drivers will refuse to pull off the driveway when the yard is soft mud after November rains.

On our jobs the usual fix is keeping the unit close enough that the hose reaches from the paved driveway, or laying plywood sheets across the soft patch so they can roll a short way without sinking. Call before the next service day and describe the mud. Ask whether they can pump from the driveway or need boards staged.

If a truck sinks, who pays for the tow is whatever your rental agreement says. Get that in writing from the office before they try to cross soft dirt. A lot of outfits would rather you slide the standard portable toilet a few feet closer to the driveway than risk a stuck truck on that soft patch next to your handwash station.
